Akshai Shah
Practice Principal
Akshai is one of the principal dentists of Amwell Street Dental Practice.
Having graduated from Kings College London in 2013, he has since worked as a general dental practitioner and completed many postgraduate courses to enrich and hone his skill set.
He has a special interest in aesthetic dentistry having completed a one year training course in cosmetic dentistry with Chris Orr, one of leading cosmetic dentist in europe.
He also enjoys teaching and passing his knowledge and skills to students and newly qualified dentists and is an educational supervisor to foundation dentists and hygienists affiliated with the university of Essex.
In his spare time he enjoys playing and watching sports. He especially enjoys playing table tennis, having played it competitively for many years and enjoys watching football and Formula 1 amongst other sports
He also enjoys spending time with friends and family and always up for a good road trip
Ronak Pandhi
Practice Principal
Ronak has been with the practice since qualifying in 2013 and became joint practice principal in 2022. As well as providing general dentistry, Ronak has a passion for providing aesthetic dentistry as well as Invisalign teeth straightening.
A personable and friendly approach with splashes of humour helps even the most nervous of patients. He is also an approved trainer for newly qualified dentists and trainee hygienists.
Outside of work, Ronak enjoys following a wide variety of sports and films, especially indie films. He loves learning about almost any topic and would never say no to a good documentary or conversation.
Paul Jackson
Senior Dentist
Paul has over 40 years experience in practice. He’s always had a passion for clinical education, having been a foundation dentist supervisor for over 20 years and a dental hygienist educational supervisor for over 7years. He presents lectures on treatment planning to fellow dentists throughout the year.
Outside of dentistry he enjoys skiing, ocean sailing, and playing the guitar. Paul is indeed the lead guitarist in 2 different bands.
Ravi Kumar
Implant Surgeon
With over 28 years of experience, Ravi offers a wide range of treatments with a special interest in dental implants. He has completed many courses for implants and aesthetic & cosmetic dentistry, and is very adept in the placement of Straumman and Astra types of implants.
Having also worked in Oral & Maxillofacial surgery department in hospital, he has a lot of experience in Oral surgical procedures allowing him to be adept at very difficult extractions and implant surgery.
Eliya Ojji
Dentist
Eliya joined the team after graduating from Barts and The London Dental School.
She takes a gentle, holistic approach to patient care. With a keen interest in the wider healthcare experience and patient journey, she aims to create a positive and reassuring experience for everyone who visits the practice.
Beyond work, you’ll likely find her cheering (literally!) with her cheerleading team, singing in a gospel choir, or spending time with family and friends. She is also an avid dressmaker with a love for exploring and learning new things.
Felicia Dalila Termine ('Dal')
Hygienist
Dal graduated from the University of Essex.
She enjoys focusing on preventative care and helping patients maintain healthy smiles over time.
With a strong interest in periodontal therapy, a holistic approach to oral care, and the use of AirFlow polishing to remove staining, she assists patients in achieving a brighter smile.
Her goal is to support patients with their oral health so they feel more confident and create a comfortable experience during visits.
Outside of work, she likes reading, baking, pottery painting as well as travelling with family and friends.
Ekaterina
Dental Nurse
Kat is our Head Dental Nurse, having qualified in 2019 and joined Amwell Street in 2020.
She loves helping to support and train junior members of staff and enjoys every single minute of her job.
Despite her experience and knowledge, she’s always doing new courses to increase her skillset and knowledge of dentistry.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her grandchildren and dog.
Samantha
Dental nurse
Samantha joined us as a trainee and qualified as a dental nurse in 2022.
She enjoys dealing with patients of all ages but especially likes working with children.
She loves singing and can regularly be found singing along to the radio in the surgery- often without realising she’s doing it!
If you’re lucky enough to catch her angelic voice….you’re in for a treat!
Jude
Dental Nurse
Jude joined the practice in early 2025 as a qualified dental nurse. He has several years of experience completing NHS and private dental treatments, he is keen to learn new knowledge to inform his skillset.
Outside of work Jude enjoys swimming, walking in nature and listening to music.
Frances
Receptionist
Frances is our longest standing member of staff and been a familiar face for patients throughout the time!
She has lived in the local area most of her life. She loves customer service roles having worked in this for over 44 years.
She always does her best to help patients with questions or queries, and endeavour to make their visit as enjoyable as possible.
